ISLG is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking experts to join an existing Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Consortium that delivers individualized and group-based support to grantees of the Criminal Justice Investment Initiative (CJII). This Consortium is part of a wider strategy to support CJII grantees in enhancing their capacity, increasing collaboration, and positioning themselves for sustainability after CJII funding has ended.

ISLG seeks applicants with expertise in TTA across three broad areas: strategic support, operations management, and programmatic support. TTA experts—including, but not limited to, nonprofit and/or for-profit organizations, individual consultants, and institutions of higher education—are invited to apply.

Current members of the CJII TTA Consortium should not apply to this solicitation (except in the instance that their corporate structure is changing—if so, please contact ISLG for next steps). Current CJII grantees not currently a part of the Consortium but interested in joining can apply here.

Background

Established in 2014 by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, the Criminal Justice Investment Initiative is a $250 million initiative that has made significant community-based investments to keep people out of the criminal legal system and help make New York City safer. ISLG manages CJII grantees, provides technical assistance, conducts oversight, and measures Initiative performance. For a list of current members of the CJII TTA Consortium, see here.
